We are looking for a team leader who can successfully execute and complete complex software engineering projects. You will provide leadership for a group of 5-10 engineers and be responsible for the planning, execution, and success of projects that advance our highly-scalable, fault-tolerant and distributed Internet application. This is a hands-on position so you will also be one of the major technical contributors your projects.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of developing robust and scalable distributed systems software that delivers our application.
- Manage a team of 5-10 software engineers, including task planning and execution.
- Take responsibility for delivering stable code, meeting specifications and timelines.
- Participate in ongoing code reviews and inspire and mentor junior developers to ensure consistent quality and adherence to internal standards.
Qualifications
- A graduate degree or an equivalent work experience.
- Track record of strong individual accomplishments, excellent programming skills, and an exceptional academic background.
- 5+ years designing, developing, testing, and shipping software as part of a software development team.
- Deep knowledge of Linux system and network programming.
- Knowledge of C/C++ or Java, Python is a plus.
